Terms of Use

Prices and payment

  • The cost of shipping will be calculated at checkout and is the responsibility of the customer. Any additional taxes/charges/handling fees applied to orders delivered overseas are also the responsibility of the customer.

  • The prices of products published on the website are subject to change at any time and without notice.

  • Orders will only be dispatched and delivered once full payment for the products and the cost of shipping has been received.

  • Payment can be made by credit or debit card.

 

Delivery and returns

  • Orders are delivered using Royal Mail's tracked service. Estimated delivery dates provided by Wove Shoes are not guaranteed.

  • The cost of shipping and any additional taxes/charges/handling fees applied to orders delivered overseas will be paid by the customer.

  • Shoes are made to order in the size and style of the customer's choice, therefore once an order has been processed this is non-returnable. Purchase confirms agreement to these terms and conditions.

  • Ready to order products (excludes shoes) can be refunded if returned within 14 days. Items must be in their original, unused condition in their original packaging. Returned goods must be adequately covered for compensation and proof of postage retained as Wove Shoes cannot be responsible for any items lost in the post.

  • Original shipping costs cannot be refunded (except in the case of faulty goods?) and the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

  • Orders returned after the 14 day returns period cannot be refunded.

  • Please contact laura@woveshoes.com prior to returning an item to Wove Shoes.

 

Faulty Goods

  • In the unlikely case that you receive an incorrect or faulty item, please be in touch to arrange return or repair as soon as possible. Initially Wove Shoes will offer to repair faulty items but if this is not possible the customer will be able to choose to receive a replacement, or a refund. Repairing is always our first step as this is part of our sustainable practice.

  • Refunds will be made through the method used to purchase the goods.

  • Any returned items must be in their original, unused condition in their original packaging.

  • Please contact laura@woveshoes.com prior to returning any items; this must be within 7 days of receiving the order, as after this you will be deemed to have accepted your items as being in good working order.

  • Wove Shoes reserves the right to exercise discretion with regard to items returned under the Faulty Goods Terms and Conditions.

 

Warranties and Liability

  • Goods ordered by the customer will be as described on Wove Shoes' website.

  • Wove Shoes is not responsible for any damage that occurs to items after delivery. This includes wear and tear, accidental damage or failure to adhere to product care instructions provided by Wove Shoes.

  • Liability for damage or loss will not exceed the amount paid for the goods by the customer.

 

Privacy

  • Placing an order with Wove Shoes will require the providing of personal information by the customer. This information will not be shared with third parties without the customer's consent, except for the purposes of processing the order and arranging shipping. Customers' payment information is not retained.

  • Our website may contain cookies, if you do not wish to have your website usage information recorded, please opt out in the cookie settings.

 

Information Accuracy and Online Orders

  • It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that information provided to complete an order online is accurate and complete, and relates only to the person placing the order and not any third party.

  • When an order is placed online, confirmation of payment clearing by the debit/credit card company does not constitute acceptance of the order by Wove Shoes . Orders are confirmed only when verified by Wove Shoes.

  • In the case of any errors in the ordering process as a result of technical or other issues beyond our control, Wove Shoes retains the right not to treat the order as binding.

 

Intellectual Property

  • The design of Wove shoes and products belong to the designer, who retains the Copyright. The customer has no right to make copies or adaptations to Wove Shoes goods.

 

Force Majeure

  • Wove Shoes accepts no liability if unable to complete our obligations on account of circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to: strike, extreme weather conditions, terrorism, 'acts of God', strikes or difficult in acquiring materials or labour.) We reserve the right to terminate an order in any such circumstances.

 

Disputes

  • Any dispute that cannot be settled directly by negotiation may be referred to meditation by mutual agreement, which will be undertaken in line with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution's rules on mediation.

  • Disputes will be finally settled by the English courts, and the customer agrees to submit to this jurisdiction.

 

General

  • If any of these Terms is held to be unenforceable by a court, this will not affect the remaining Terms.

  • The relationship between Wove Shoes and the customer will be governed by these Terms only, and in accepting them the customer confirms that no other arrangement or agreement is applicable.
