Wove Shoes will wear naturally accepting grazes, dents and scratches that can be buffed out and embraced as character.

PRACTICE PRODUCTS PATIENCE

Good Practice

Keep your shoes clean.

Allow any wet mud or debris to dry naturally, before brushing down with a stiff shoe brush.

Do not store damp.

Try to resist the temptation to put them on the radiator as the heat will dry out the leather and over time can cause cracking

Keep your shoes in the dustbag provided.

This keeps them clean and dust free.

Good Products

Feeding the leather.

I recommend the French brand Saphir as a high quality supplier of shoe care.

Specific Products:

Saphir Creme Polish:

Clear or the colour of your shoe. This nourishes and feeds your leather. This is applied with an old lint free rag.

Saphir Block Polish:

Clear or the colour of your shoe. This protects and gives a good finish. This is applied with a dauber brush, and worked into the leather with a buffing brush.

Saphir Sole Guard:

This oil aids waterproofing and prevents soles waring out as fast. Once you have worn in your shoes and the leather has lost its satin finish I recommend this product for its upkeep. I would highly recommend Kirby Allison's YouTube Channel on high end footwear and upkeep. See link below.

For extra grip.

You can get a good quality cobbler to add a grip sole, but I would always recommend wearing them in a little first.

Good Patience

Time

All our shoes have natural leather insoles. These will mould to your feet over time with the heat from your body, the sweat from your skin. This takes time, but over time they should just keep improving until they are imprinted with your own tread.
